Foggy mornings bring winter dreams
with dripping webs and birds visiting
My front porch dampened with rain
from it's night long cloud refrain
Trees in clouds of misty white
Dissipate with rising light
Flowers bloomed in plastic pots
Droop from heavy moisture drops
While I wait for coffee dripping
Thoughts in mind continue sifting
Through a myriad of ideas
Needed for this day to live
Chores and errands, calls and text
Do this first, do that next
Eat then dress find my shoes
Brush my teeth no time for blues
Much yet to be accomplished
Find my keys, fill the dogs dish
Pour fresh water, make a list
Of store items I need to get
Check email, walk the dogs
Fix my hair or hat it all
Thoughts of turkey, Christmas day
Colder breezes frosting ways
Decorating window screens
Frozen grounds and things between
Ready up, good to go
One last look as day unfolds
Winter dreams mixing thoughts
Welcome to my daily plot

Not every writer writes for fame and fortune. As a matter of fact that class of people is a reserved group of people none of the rest of the world's simple word users will ever be able to liken ourselves to. Then again, that was never the idea when most people first began writing. It was something we were taught, something we learned, something we were instructed to use through out our lives to sort out ideas and follow a pattern of thinking that would lead us to communicating with our own thoughts in a healthier way.
