Take a break from your routine, give yourself a modish theme
Every day keep ideas new, step out side your average view
Describe a clear morning sunrise, what words would you use to summarize
The intricate colors nature is painting, in the sky as morning is waking
Think about the heavy dew drops, resting on leaves in the tree tops
Colored by the sun while rising, fade to white the dew drops drying
Give your thoughts a fresher texture, think about the clouds and whether
Foggy blanket covered hillsides, greets or shuns the spreading sunlight
See the clouds gold, pink glow, watch them gather, stretch and grow
Over mountains gray and green, spreading shades of underneath
Watch the wind as it passes, sweeping up the dusts and grasses
Set on quest to spread it's breezes, moving languid as it pleases
Is it in a running rush you could use as a hair brush
Is it high, is it low, do the birds relinquish control
Of their wings to glide across, the upward lift and drift sequence
Think about revealing night when the day begins to quite
Announcing how close you are in seeing the first evening star
Does it twinkle, does it dance, does it fade in as you glance
Round about with seeking eyes as plum colors swatch the sky
Describe the fragrant smell in air, was it cold or weather fair
Enough for you to linger longer as the stars spread in number
Peering from their place in sky, bidding you a fond good night
Consider now all your thoughts, what reasoning's have they taught
You to take to recognize the timely tale of your life
Were you rushed to quick stop change or were you given ample range
To include your thoughts in making of your time as it was shaping
Those ideas throughout your day and what to you does that say
Are you careful, care free, modest, were you factual and honest
Did you skip the deeper view for a smaller glimpse of you
Did you revel, did you squander your ideas as you wonder
How does nature involve you or did you see it and assume
That today was just a day when you had no thought convey
All the splendor that was present for your senses to consent
In the joining of the measure you were plied with all together
Take a chance and change within start today and extend
Your perception of your thinking, living, dreaming and creating
The broader vision of what you see, don't rely on others only
To describe to you over time what you should think and consign
As a value to your life when it's you who should reside
Over how you give account to the day you live in now
Give yourself a new beginning every day as you're living
To pursue and realize the hidden treasures in plain sight
Waiting there to be explored, gathered, pondered and enjoyed

Pondering Perceptions

Not every writer writes for fame and fortune. As a matter of fact that class of people is a reserved group of people none of the rest of the world's simple word users will ever be able to liken ourselves to. Then again, that was never the idea when most people first began writing. It was something we were taught, something we learned, something we were instructed to use through out our lives to sort out ideas and follow a pattern of thinking that would lead us to communicating with our own thoughts in a healthier way.
