I Say, You There, Might I Have a Moment
You there, sitting atop the mountain your glorious legacy written against the sky
Unafraid of who you are standing now in a modern day of aspiring exchangers
Who would have the world think you were an imbecile of ideology
An unwanted creature of hate and murderous heart wrapped in wind swept sands
Chastising your faiths, your freedoms and families their worth for their profitable stories
Because you, oh wondrous being, refused to make your faith an image
So the world made one for you and cast it to the wind to spread it far and wide
As the villainous cause for all greed and discontent among the nations
Using your names as their gains, your patrimony as the scourge for all of humanity
Blaming you and your kinsman there, praying near the northern wall every day
For the goodwill of our thinking to become greater within ourselves to share with others
For what is prayer, a living desire to acknowledge greater then welcome it into existence
Thankful for the life of a people their histories, their futures, their continuance of trust
In greeting a betterment of living, providing, enduring all things which would otherwise
See you both destroyed, scattered among the sands as an eradication of their hindrances
Playing you both for your wealth, prepackaged as a historical hatred filled betrayal
One by the other then vice versa all the same your faces, your languages smeared
To establish their own image of who and what you are and have over come together
You there, you two, who have gave rise to more legends in our lands than have we
Can you not see the goodness that those who use you have deprived you of in this day
Always displacing your prayers for their game replicating their opinions of you both
As a means to an end for you and those who came from your prayers, your faiths
Who went forward in time to achieve a new found faith built around those lesser learned
To establish an understanding of your trials, and tribulations through generations of indifference
One king always rising against another from a coveters lust to take what wasn't his
I would say to you this, they masked you in our eyes, they crumb your worth as this
Two heathen brats of antiquity who have no moral compass for life except vengeance
Which they promote as in the days before gathering you both into arenas for others to watch
As they bomb your homes, your schools, your lands, the lions wrenching your children
In front of our eyes for us to cheer or jeer forming an opinion for one side or the other
While we look on in disgust knowing we too are you two conjured into their scheme
For what they do to one people they do to all others without remorse or consciences because
You there! I say, are you paying attention? Or are you both so blind to the scene
That they thrive on your arrogance, they patronize your deliverance, for a headline
Being sold to an entire world as their reasoning for damning and destroying you all
Where you are presented as an old relic from A.D's B.C as a historical fact, disgrace
Not eternal empires brought forth on the sands of time to endure as a right way
A freedom to believe that from creation all creatures were created and to which we all go
They feed you glorious stories they know you want to hear, shaping your honors
Around their lies of the other while secretly luring both into an enslavement requiring
Their helpfulness and wiser knowing lining your streets with artillery and weaponry
A cause for demanding obedience from your great faiths manipulating your triumphs
As their greatness in peace keeping while we behold you all as their prisoners
Wrapped in their visions of occupational hatred that only a few can sort and diffuse
You there! Brothers of our earth, we pray for you here in our homes, in our minds
Knowing without you we would surely know not the goodness of beholding ourselves smaller
Than the stars in the heavens that stretch across our heads at night created as we were
We give thanks for your written words of strength and living stories of your humanity
As you both struggled to over come your own greed's of the flesh for an enduring relationship
Within creation, the holiness of living truthful among other peoples, allowing them their prayers
Their families, to exist within your existences knowing the ways of man are not the same
As those of the heavens where we all claim exist in a oneness within itself always balanced
In creation where one need only create for themselves their life offering no harm to another
Nor threating of loss to those with whom lives around them as they are under the guidance of
A greater thinking to stay the course of living that promotes their own wealth and well being
You there, can't you see we learned a better lesson than the loss the world demands
Under the expanse of the glorious skies over our heads where we all greet the sun at morn
Our brightest and only star from whence all life depends to exist at all
That like the darkness of space around us nothing can exist or grow as it should
Or endure as life and living without the closeness of light shining forth to give newness
Can you comprehend that your opinions of your own glory is far less than ours of you
That your histories are ours as well, your futures will be ours too with each waking day
We are not immune from your influence we are either strengthened or weakened by your light
The offspring's of your glorified kingdoms wish for you to call forth your brethren by name
Cast off the grave clothes the world has wrapped you both in and come again to the light
Where your goodness is our crowning jewel your benevolence is our guide post
And the darkness is scattered with your remembrances of life everlasting to everlasting
Teaming and gleaming with the charities of your forgiveness and forgetfulness of the
Ancient avenues others had thought to assail you both on to remove you from our sight
Take up the lost languages of your lives and place them before us so that we may feast
Upon your ideas for consideration in enjoying the love of our living together in these times
Deny your own death to the world and never go quietly into the nights darkness
To which it would throw you for utter darkness itself is a non fact of our beings
See there, see those stars always there in the vastness of the evening sky
They are there to implore you to shine to endure to bring forth the words of the living
To encourage all life to forsake the descent of ungratefulness and rise again to the
Light of the now in the lands of the living to the future where no soul is lost to ambiguity
I say there, I have listened to your stories, I have seen your great displays
Am I to assume that all you are now is all you will ever become
It is my prayer and delight to think it is not, and that one day I will see you living
Front and center amongst the peoples of the world as their light against the darkness
Their admiration, their hope as they journey with you and yours through your reality

Not every writer writes for fame and fortune. As a matter of fact that class of people is a reserved group of people none of the rest of the world's simple word users will ever be able to liken ourselves to. Then again, that was never the idea when most people first began writing. It was something we were taught, something we learned, something we were instructed to use through out our lives to sort out ideas and follow a pattern of thinking that would lead us to communicating with our own thoughts in a healthier way.
