People often enjoy the benefits of other people's faiths in goodness while they’re condemning or trying to humiliate another person. However, if it wasn’t for the millions of people who choose to believe in the goodness their lives can give others, the people who condemn them would be left to defend themselves against foes much bigger than themselves that have no respect for anyone.
We take for granted everyday when we go about our way,
All the wishes, thoughts and prayers that others offer when they care,
Never stopping once to think about the moments that are synced,
To the times we go about, our days and nights within, without,
Our daily lives upon our waking, as we live them as we’re making,
Timely schedules for all the things, that demand our personal beings,
To show up present, be on time, our best foot forward to combine,
The tasks before us to perform, to make sure that they do conform,
With expectations of our employment, whether or not it gives enjoyment,
We sigh from weary sleepless nights, we can’t seem to do anything right,
We fuss and fidget with all the cares, that to others eyes seem unaware,
Of the lethargies that we’ve fought, all the doubts and distraughts,
That plague our aching bodies for, more of us than what it is good for,
We often forget that others around us, have the same problems and mindsets,
Of family obligations of stretched finances, of personal hurts and distresses,
Feeling as though we go life alone, as unwanted burdens and well dressed drones,
Gathering strength from all of the places, that encourage our lives in search of graces,
To ease our thoughts that are rushed and hurried, from the obvious hurts and worry,
Instead of seeing the atmospheres where we are guarded from the fears,
That round about us could be lurking, if other people weren’t looking,
To wear a smile upon their face, to speak kindly about the places,
They have found to be a treasure, to their lives as they endeavored,
In overcoming grief and strife, although their lives were in a fight,
Against the battles of the mind, where light and darkness there preside,
To win our thoughts and thus our lives, then breed a pattern to reside,
Within our souls where we determine, the good and bad and if to spurn,
A moment we will carry on, to give another right or wrong,
The results of our choosing, chaining another or so by loosing,
Them from all their worried thinking, that lies beneath their appearance being,
Needing to know they’re welcomed there, away from the concerns that they bare,
Oh what good it does to know, that all around us good can grow,
Because a prayer was said before, a weary mother walked out a door,
To take her place behind a counter, to greet you when your hunger matters,
And earn the money she receives, from a job she desperately needs,
To her it is an answered prayer, a lighter burden for her to bare,
A gift from heaven not a curse, that God delivered for her purse,
And ah the measure of a joy, that multiplied within the boy,
Whose wish was granted when you gave, a tip that bought his gas that day,
What satisfaction we would gain, if when faced with daily strains,
We remembered all the people, who spend their days shunning evil,
Depending on the lessons taught them, by their leaders, fathers, mommas,
To think better of themselves, and give those respects to everyone else,
No matter where their feet may go, no matter what they think they know,
Leave a good impression there and show those around you that you care,
With a good thought, with a blessing, with a wish, without stressing,
Lives where your eyes cannot see, all the prayers and the beliefs,
That give to you every day, the learned benefits of their faiths,
In words of comfort and encouragement, in acts of friendship spreading merriments,
With cheerful words and thoughtful wishes, against the hateful, spiteful disses,
That others swear for no good reason, except that with their reasonings of treason,
They turn against the ambrosias of life, to harbor hate and instill strife,
Without regret and remorse, to disrupt all the splendid choices,
Where people took the time to think, about the life that they were living,
Wanting to make bright the days, when they were in a darker place,
Deciding love of life was good and that with others that they should,
Live in peace and find every way, they could find to live their days,
Without the need of hurting others, without the wants of destructive behaviors,
Within the magic of forgiveness, that blesses every soul that seeks it,
To shed the hurts that it has suffered, to know that their life is what matters,
To someone, somewhere when they learned that love accepts and never turns,
Its back against you for any reason and is the gift that gives all life meaning.
