Majestic plum blues, golden pinks, orange white yellow swirls
Giving each thing in your sight a luminous, silent, soft touch
Reminding all who see you that beyond this sky is much
More than any here can dare to span with human sight
Revealing marvels more profound when you say good night
Never far are you from me, never failing to remind me
That even though you're not always seen all you are lights eternity
Eons of light sculpting the sky between earth, moon, and stars
Revealing the pasts of human achievements, histories, modern and far
Watching so quietly, ever so warming, beginning each day of life
Without the harsh pestilent decrees declared by human vices
Welcoming all who see you there to partake of all you see
Forgoing the bustle of needing the approval to exist as infinitely
Giver of life, creator of splendid, magnificent, minuscule manifestations
On every land, in every air, through waters of people of nations
Never forsaking one for another brilliantly covering us all
The strong, the weak, the rich, the poor, the slight, mediocre, tall
Who need you, want you, miss you when your presence can't be found
Even though they know you are simply waiting on the clouds
To finish cooling all the places where you wish to see life grow
Commemorating flora fauna with leisure so we learn to know
The patient tending taken, needed, between strength and resting
Giving life the knowledge needed to remember nest and questing
Isn't limited to moon or earth as a single species or gender
Respecting balance between the elements brings nature's splendor
Into the world of every person who seeks to see the light
Bending, blending, scoping, troping bouts of humanities plight
Wanting the world to know there's time enough to share together
A wonderful place where with duration they too find living treasures
Beyond the measure of a metal, exceeding the price of a garment
Lives the bountiful harvests of the eternal sacraments of togetherness
Where souls gather enriching with grace the goodness of each other
Appreciating all that is with all that will germinate when further
Yonder's morning calls to them in waking to see you rise
Reaching gently through horizons to welcome and invite
Another day, another offering moment for all to realize
The totality of eternities within our finite, logical minds
